I always liked the shimmering effect of those chords playing throughout the song (sounds like a classic I-II-V or I-IV-V combo of chords) and the fun little sax riffs (unless that was actually synthesizer?)
I often get Dance Hall Days stuck in my head! it's a good one to be stuck. Such a great song to dance to. I think I was in the States when the other song came out, so I do remember it, too. Never been stuck in my head though, unlike the random Nana Mouskouri French song, Le Tournesol. That one drives me crazy!
This song was always my preference between their two radio hits. The amount of space in the arrangement elevated an air of mystery around it. Thanks for the memory!

It’s I-IV-V all right. You can make a fun little acoustic version of it.
Wow, I don't remember that video At All. The song was all over the radio though, you couldn't escape it.
I really miss sax in pop songs.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
Sax in pop songs is great. That shimmery little sax riff in the verses of Ray Parker Jr’s “The Other Woman” is what makes that song sparkle.
